Gotcha!

Our granddaughter was with us overnight, so breakfast was slightly more complicated / prolonged than usual. We did eventually get out of the house around 10 a.m. and called at York 'Designer Outlet' (makes it sound posh - but surely everything has a designer).

Jessica had a bit of time on the playground - but it was so cold and miserable that we soon retired inside for a coffee and cake.

A quick wander round the rest of the shops - and then home as Mrs madwill had a fabric rep calling with some samples.

After that went out for a walk - hoping to see the pigs in the fields nearby, but they were all holed up in their sties!

I managed to capture this thrush in our garden - busy pulling worms from the ground. we used to have quite a few thrushes visiting us - bashing snails on stones, but in the last couple of years they have been a bit rare. This is a severe crop of a shot through a window at 300mm. The bird was about 6 metres away
