a merry dancer

Keira is no longer a kitten, nor could she be described as slimline, but she's still very playful chasing leaves and twigs outside and, especially, shadows in the house. A favourite trick is up on the kitchen table (!) and chasing the shadow of her tale - who knows what she would do if she caught it. There she goes dancing round and round, though with more of a thump than a dainty tread.

The Merry Dancers is the local name for the Northern Lights or Aurora Borealis, though its been a while since I've seen them.
