Autumn Flowering

.......Rhododendron.  This one does very well for us because (a) it's in a pot, and (b) it's well protected from our very hot summer weather.

Mish will tell you the story of her adventures I expect, but she's in doggy day care today, which is a good thing, because we have had a continual stream of workmen and visitors to the house.

And I've been busy filling a skip with the clivias which we chopped back last week.  I'll have no trouble at all filling it up.

The next thing we have to deal with is the enormous (and getting enormouser by the day) oak tree which is barely 8 metres from the house.  We're getting an arbourist in to give us advice, but it will have to be cut back somehow.
