Bourne Wood

We travelled down to Farnham to attend a family internment and took an opportunity to take a peaceful, thoughtful walk in Bourne Wood.

It is a very popular location for Screen and TV Films and has earned the Forestry Commission more than £650,000 over the past 14 years, including Doctor Who, Ultimate Force and Henry VIII, as well as dozens of commercials.
Most notably the opening battle scenes of the film Gladiator were filmed in the woods as well as Spielbergs War Horse.
