Lion coalition at Sabi Sands

I'm a bird man really but in Africa I probably took more shots of animals than birds. Who can resist it when a group of five male lions walks right past your jeep on their way to drink?

These three brothers are part of a group of five male lions who work together as a coalition, hunting together and protecting a single territory and the females within it. Although quite young they have already sired a number of cubs. One of the five (not shown) is a poorly creature, undernourished and struggling to breathe, but his brothers protect him.
