Hollingworth Lake

I had to go into Manchester this morning, and so on the way back home I decided to make a detour and visit Hollingworth Lake.  I think I can truly say that I've never been there when there's been sunshine -   today for instance in the hour I was there it rained and hailed and the wind blew hard.  The ham sandwich and the cup of tea I ate on the go wasn't the best, but it tasted good and kept me from getting too cold, and I still managed a blip.  Not what I'd had in mind though, but the good thing is I've found a better place to park and a nicer way round the lake so it'll be fingers crossed for the next time  - sooner or later you'd think I'd get lucky with the weather.
