New Growth

Spring has sprung here in Zihuatanejo, with most flora in full growth mode. Even though the climate is very constant, the plant life in our fair city somehow has sensed Spring in the air. This cacti started as a three individual "ears" (apologies to my botanist daughter) brought from the Guadalajara area five years ago. Today, it stands a good four feet tall, with more than four ears.. Two new ones, shown here, will soon be added to that total.
