Birdham Pool

Our boat went back in the water today but the boatyard put her in "bows to" (pointy end in first) rather than stern to so we went over to turn her the right way around. When we got to the boat the heavens opened and we were getting more and more soaked as we tried to work out a way to get on the boat. Jeff managed but his legs are a lot longer than mine but I simply could not do it. Eventually Jeff managed to loosen some ropes in order to pull her closer to our neighbouring boat which was fortunately moored stern to. I climbed onto their boat and hopped across to ours and all the time the rain was bucketing down.
We did eventually turn our boat around but that was it, we were drenched and had to go home and that's when the sun came out and Birdham Pool was beautiful again!
