Horton Pond

The urge to go fishing overwhelmed us this morning.
We brought our kayaks to “Horton Pond” near Low Pass, Oregon (also called "Hult Log Reservoir").
It’s an old log pond that is just a bit off the beaten path.

Horton Pond has become our favorite fishin’ hole.
Today the pond was very much in the swing of Spring with new leaves budding and critters cavorting (like the rough-skinned newts).
