Raspberry Ripple Rose

Because I  was going out with a friend this morning I went early to the Rose Garden to find a Blip for Flower Friday. Most of the roses are finished now - or nearly so. However, there are a few hardy specimens hanging on and I love the way the early mornng sun brought out the layers in this one.

It makes me think of raspberry ripple ice cream - I might need to do a quick trip to the shop.
