Armadillos...

My friend Pauline has written her first novel so we went to support her at her book launch in Biggar tonight.

I'm excited to read the book after listening to her read some little parts out loud in a very convincing Texan accent.

It was lovely to see both her and her partner Robin. They are both actors and Pauline's first major role was as Lizzie in Trainspotting. I've most recently seen Robin in the film Filth and he made me laugh out loud in the cinema at a part that just wasn't funny to anyone else.

You should all buy the book.... except you Mum, you definitely shouldn't buy it.
