Elephant Sanctuary

Today was a day out to an elephant sanctuary in the jungle of Goa.
The elephants are orphans that the Indian govt spends 2 years trying to rehome into another group, if there not accepted then they either go to local villages to be looked after or into private sanctuaries. Because they are holy here they are well looked after. We did get to bathe with one, although it was more of a soaking.
