Godfrey. A sad day.

My neighbour, Godfrey, died this afternoon after a long battle with cancer. My family have known him for 24 years. He was an amazing and kind man who loved his family, gardening, photography and birds. Marcia, his wife, told me this morning that yesterday his last words to her were "remember me when you hear a blackbird sing". RIP Godfrey.....,you will be missed so much by us all.
