On Cloud Nine

Thank you for all your kind words yesterday. My neck and shoulder are a lot easier today - although still painful, nothing like yesterday. This was a good thing as we drove to Plymouth today to collect my NEW CAR! It's a Hyundai i10 premium automatic. So far, all I've done is drive it home - and it's a beeeeautiful drive! First time I've had an automatic but the choice was driven by my increasing arthritis. I think I'll very quickly get used to not reaching for a clutch pedal or gear lever.
