Atop the Victor Emmanuel Monument

Highlight of our final day in Rome was the panoramic views to all corners of the city from the top of the 200 foot high Victor Emmanuel Monument. Despite conditions being overcast for the first time this week, I managed to take some great photos. This one shows the Colosseum,  Palantine Hill and part of the vast Forum. Well worth the many steps (and finally the lift) to the top.
