Travelling day done

We're back home! Or as they say round these parts - Wim bak owem. (Have to acclimatise myself back into the local lingo of course).

We were only away for a few days break, but it's been splendid indeed. A little bit of time by the sea does wonders for us midland folk. And even if it was cold, it was at least dry and a even a little bit sunny. I can cope with that.

The travelling days were a bit of a chore though. Both the outward and the inward. 6 hours+  both times to do a 3 hour trip. Consequently I don't want to see the inside of a car for at least a week. Then I'll think about it.

For now, the kettle's on, and bed beckons.
