Made it!

After a long and highly entertaining journey, finally made it to the lovely Emma, and after way too long finally met her gorgeous children.

Emma and I became best friends at the age of 7, but geography got in the way when she had to move abroad with her family a couple of years later. So, back in the time before Facebook and even email, we remained pen friends. We were occasionally allowed to phone each other, and even more occasionally allowed to visit. And our friendship endured through childhood, teen years, marriages and children.

Now the kids have gone, and we have takeaway and wine. And a massive amount of catching up to do. All is well with the world.
