A largely Manchester based day.

I love the view across the Middlewood Locks site, from Salford towards Manchester.

I haven't used a telephoto lens in ...... months. But I had my "big" camera in the back of my car, so changed the lens and had a go. There are so many cranes at the moment, and more are coming, either side of this view. It deserves a full panorama, I will have to learn how to do that competently. 

This area of Salford and Manchester is seeing huge change and transformation, and deserves a few blips over coming months as a bit of a record.

But it's the weekend - whooooop ! Glass of wine and Young Musician of the Year on TV. And a Salford lad wins the piano "heat". Well done him !
