Lending a Helping Hand

We are excited to see many baby bunches on our grapevine and were wondering how the thin branches would be able to support them, when I noticed how the vine sends out little extra arms which seem to wrap around the budding grapes to help support the weight as they grow!
You can see in the background some little nylon stretchy covers I slipped over the bunches to see if I can protect them from the birds this year! They are recycled covers from the cut flowers I bought for BG.
