Soak it up

The Magpie sat on the roof today looking really drookit - then flew off as I grabbed the camera!
Every so often there's a loud thlunk (somewhere between a thud and a clunk) - antics shown in yesterday's Blip.
Apparently Magpies have been given a bad press - unjustly.
Also discovered that they're the eccentrics of the bird world - often developing quite marked idiosyncrasies.
liking them more and more

Dive bombing the small feeder keeps it from bothering the little birds the other feeders, which are in another window.

Those feeders were busy today in spite of the continuous downpour.

A bit tunnel visioned just now - exploring ideas for new projects - more inspired than current Blips, hopefully.
