Seckar Wood SSSI

Seckar Wood near Newmillerdam, Wakefield. A designated site of special scientific interest. 

Maybe further south the bluebell carpets have started in earnest, but here it's still a little early and there are just isolated shoots. 

The selective sharpening and corresponding slight background blur may be a little overcooked here, but without this treatment the bokeh was plain nasty !
