Aubretia

I love the way the aubretia is beginning to colonise this very old wall in the road out of Kilconquhar.  I took a slight detour when I left Elie around lunchtime to head back home to Glasgow.  I spotted the Aubretia earlier in the week and I wanted to photograph it while I remembered.  By the time I am back in Elie the wee purple flowers will most certainly be past their best.
