Unicorn

A brilliant day, revealed three months- worth of neglect on the housework front. Visitors for lunch tomorrow = something must be done. You will know how bad it was when I tell you I found a dessicated slug corpse behind the sideboard.

So, I escaped for a wander in the town. This is the top of our Market Cross. The unicorn denotes that we are, or were, a Royal Burgh. I had to google that to check, and discovered that the (mythical) unicorn is the national animal of Scotland. Good choice, I think.
