The Bears Are Awake

"If you go out in the woods today
You're sure of a big surprise.
If you go out in the woods today
You'd better go in disguise.

For every bear that ever there was
Will gather there for certain, because
Today's the day the teddy bears have their picnic."

Walking in the fields this afternoon, we were surprised to find this old log which has been lying (intact) on the edge of the pasture for several years all ripped apart into splinters and shreds.  Quite close by was an impressive pile of bear poo.  They have clearly awakened from their winter hibernation, and are in search of breakfast!
