Happy Unbirthday

Today was not D2’s big birthday but we went out to celebrate anyway. Her choice of venue was an American dinner that did vegetarian options for many of their burgers so an obvious winner with D2 and D3.

The walls had lots of Americana decorations, including a lot of US number plates, possibly one from each state but I lost count. Each one had an inspirational slogan, such as Land of Enchantment for New Mexico, the Spirit of America for Massachusetts, Stars fell on – Alabama and Live Free or Die from New Hampshire. So, if you came from Idaho, how proud would you be to have the slogan Famous Potatoes on your number plates. How many famous potatoes can you think off? King Edward, Asterix, Lady Belfour and  Lulu.
