Family Parties

I met up with my three sisters today at the surprise 19th birthday party for my nephew's daughter at the local village sports club.  She did look suitably surprised.......or was it shocked!

The photo is of the cake topper one of my sisters has knitted for her daughter's wedding later this year. They're both great crafters, and the plans are for a more relaxed wedding with us all pitching in.  

I personally prefer the local, personal touch for such events, more fun and more relaxed than a lot of people go for these days.
