Triumph Historic Counties Run 2016 - Part 1

Regular visitors might remember this blip and the following days entry from last year. Well that time is round again and this evening (and in the early hours of tomorrow morning) Annie together with our good friends Reg and Martin (fellow blipper) will be out once again on the Club Triumph Historic Counties Run, defending their win from last year. They will be visiting many different counties and some specific locations (breweries this year) on the way, as well as clocking bonus points for finding some specifically named pubs on the way around (they won't be stopping, no time for that).

I (Chris) went down to the start in Essex with Annie to meet Reg and Martin who drove over in Reg's car. It's been a bit troublesome the last couple of weeks and at one stage it looked like they might swap to use our car. Ours however is still sickly so that turned out not to be an option. That has meant they have extra challenge tonight as the starter motor isn't working on Reg's car so they will be bump starting the car each time they stop!! I'll leave Annie to reveal details of the route on tomorrow's blip.

The blip shows Annie and Martin ready to start part of the auto gymkhana, a warm up (but point scoring) event this afternoon before they set off on the inevitable and crazy treasure hunt this event always is. Another shot of the car in action in the extras too.
