In My Woodland Garden...

.... I've been planting ferns. I put this hart's tongue fern close into a section of tree trunk that carries my giant fungi. When you look at it in the garden it looks as if it's been there for years.

Today The Man and I celebrated our 39th Wedding Anniversary. We had a wonderful day which ended in The Troutbeck Inn for a meal with a couple who had just moved to the area. The Man had seen them once before and said "Hello", I had spent 15 minutes talking to them. We had done them a small favour and they wanted to buy us a drink to thank us.

We chatted on Facebook and decided it would be nice to have a meal together. It was a great evening with good food. As we were eating I noticed the heavily falling snow outside.
