the nuthatches

Today was a bright and sunny day. The sun was strong but the air and the wind was still very cold. The air temperature was -2c feeling like -9c with the wind. I went out and bought more digital storage today as I seem to be running out of room on my current drives. When I was out at the park the nuthatches were very busy looking for seeds as the insects they eat in spring were not around because of the cold.

I went back out for a walk this evening and it felt even colder with the wind it was -11C, I spotted the heron at the lake for the first time this season and also grabbed a few shots of the moon see my extra shots.
