Sorting out party gifts

On the way to work, I went to the sorting office to pick up a special delivery that I'd missed yesterday. Wey hey - our Eurostar tickets to Paris.
After dinner, daughter #2 (who enjoys household chores) decided to sort out the cutlery drawer (without me knowing). She had ordered me to not go into the sitting room and I couldn't work out what all the noise was.
After dinner, I decided to go through all the kitchen cupboards and clear out the fridge. On Saturday, we are off for six weeks, so it made sense to chuck everything out. Hubby will get home after we've left so I made sure there was some beer in the (very sparse) fridge.
Daughter #2 is having her birthday party tomorrow (5 weeks after her birthday !) so she wrapped all the gifts that she's going to give out (instead of party bags).
