Spent Callistemon

Usually, I would show the flower in full bloom, but when I saw this spent flower I was intrigued by the structure which remained. It seemed to lend itself well to macro so there, that's what I have done.  The full bloom then, is my extra! The Callistemon are just starting to break into flower which means there is a lot to look forward to over the coming months.
