Stage Set
A busy morning, what with dropping the car off to get its bash unbashed, stop into the gaff to check on progress, and onward to the RFYC to pay my water taxi fees. The crewmate was most impressed by the place with its nautical prints and framed collections of buttons. I had to usher her out before the membership forms were conjured up.
Up to the Traverse to see 'Neither God nor Angel' - a most excellent and amusing piece. The portrayal of William, a daft gowk but endlessly wisely scheming still makes me laugh.
Onward, via some interior shops and Aesop, a ridiculously priced supposedly (Daily Record retweeted by Summerhall) hipster apothecary. I now own some herbal cleansing apres shave balm. At least I drew the line at the serum.
Still, an excellent pint in the Tap did follow, and finally, up to Tynie where the Hertz got one over on the sheepies. Meh meh meh!!! We were dreadful for a period but big donkey Juanma banged two in. Gorgie legend! Time for a beer with the chums, and the teeniest dram for the road.
