Greenhalgh Castle

I love living here. 5 mins walk from my house and I'm knee deep in mud, surrounded by fields, more mud, trees and fresh air.

Downside is that money-grabbing amoral bastards keep building (or trying to buikd) featureless housing estates on it.

This is what's left of the 15th Century Greenhalgh Castle.

My soul-restoring walk was followed by smoked bacon and potato hash, fried duck egg, tomatoes and a coffee.

There might be a swift half at the pub by the canal later...
