A view in the wood.
The sunshine was rather fickle today, but we went out for a breath of fresh air. The wood is full of the white bell flowers, Which I have tried to identify and the nearest I can get is Scottish asphodel. As it is listed as 'rare plant of Scottish mountains'it doesn't seem right. BUTy flora was published in 1958,and a lot can have happened since then!
