Two Black Beauties

Went out to buy some daffodils at a roadside stall a friend had told me about, but got a bit lost at first.  However, I didn't mind in the least when I came across this beautiful pair.

The foal looks very young and its Mum was so protective, moving it away from the edge of the field where I'd spotted it and much closer to the farm buildings.  I could have watched it for hours, but I still had daffodils to find.

I did find the stall eventually, but not before spotting another field full of horses a bit further on.  What a treat for me!  I bought loads of daffodils in bud at 25 pence for 10, so hope they all open out.  They may be a future blip:-)
