Fetch!

Mrs madwill and I had a fab day in Skipton today - arrived just before 10 a.m and it was very quiet.

Breakfast courtesy of Wetherspoons then a walk to the canal basin and a 30 minute boat ride up and down the canal!

We wandered along the towpath past the castle and the recent landslide underneath the castle - which has completely blocked the canal.

Back into town for a light lunch (tea and a shared sandwich) then on for a bit of shopping!

On the way home we stopped at Swinsty reservoir - for an ice cream (well it was sunny) and a wander around. Water levels are the highest we have seen them for years (they ought to be after all the rain we have had).

This dog (not ours) was having a whale of a time swimming around and  chasing sticks.

Home and tea is in the oven and I believe we may be trying out some new wine glasses that we bought today!
