Hardwick Hall

It was a nice day to visit NT Hardwick Hall and thanks to this lad for photo bombing my otherwise boring shot.

Hardwick is a fascinating place steeped in the history of 16th century Elizabethan England. Elizabeth Shrewsbury, Bess of Hardwick was the 2nd richest woman in England after Elizabeth 1. She also took care of her grand daughter Arbella, who was to be the successor to the throne but the history books show she didn't make it and the amazing story about the forgotten princess is well told in the house.

Now time to settle down in front of the tv and see who wins the Masters.
