Resin or yellow scab fungus

A macro of a part of our wooden fencing. There is coming some yellow stuff out of it at some parts. Is it resin or yellow scab fungus (Stereum hirsutum). But I think it isn't that fungus. I couldn't find anything else so it must be resin???
