Manchester marathon

Today was the day that plans made in the National Museum on Cardiff on 12th July last year came to fruition - kind of.

Neither Mr hazelh nor I ran a race this morning, nor did my friends Sarah and Helen. However Sarah's husband did so in memory of their two sons who died in 2014. The boys' names are here on the back of his T shirt, as is the link to their memorial page on Facebook.

It seems that whenever I go along to cheer someone on in a race I always end up walking miles. This happened today: by 10:40 I'd walked the streets of Manchester for 3 hours!

Exercise today: walking 23,527 steps.
