Very relaxing day today, bit of a lie-in then off to visit pa-in-law. Then dropped into the local town to do some shopping (stopped for lunch) before stopping off at a large supermarket. WARNING contentious issue coming .............

Have you noticed that some of the parent and child spaces are nearer to the shop front than disabled - how does this work and why!? I have seen parents use (abuse) the parking space, when no child is in the car but they have a child car seat in, so they can pop in the shop quickly. I fully agree that both parking spaces need to be ample to allow for access be getting equipment etc out, but in my opinion the parent and child spaces do not need to be right next to the door !

Skype with daughter tonight, followed by a relaxing evening. :)
