I have been shopping!
Today I bought a new lens for my stable - a Tamron 16-300mm F3.5-6.3 Di II VC PZD Macro to give it the full description.
On the way home from Nelson I stopped with Blipmate at Rabbit Island for a camera play. The lens is not a lot heavier than the 55-250mm one I have already and easy to adjust and hold.
My blip is of oyster catchers strolling along the beach and that was taken at 300 mm. I have included some extras for those interested to see the results at each end of the range. The seascape is 16 mm. The rest are 300 mm. The tern was quite distant and has been cropped in as well. All were taken in strong early afternoon sun and were hand held..
I think the lens and I are going to be happy together.
