Overcast

The one thing which has been a surprise on our return home from holiday (apart from finding out today that someone has pinched our garden hose!) is that the daffodils are already on their way out.  They were the first dash of colour spotted from the train on our way home from gloomy Manchester airport.  I'm getting back in to my routine this week so I started the day with a cycle around my circuit.  It has been overcast at both ends of the day so the daffs on Bents Lane provided a welcome contrast to the nondescript sky.
It's been the first mow of Spring this afternoon and good to have that exercise!
