Given up

A fairly rubbish shot tonight due to a repeat of technology failure. My home hub has given up the ghost again and I almost gave up the will to live after an hour on the phone to three separate people at BT - and all with practically no voice to make my point with. Bailey wasn't amused at the lack of attention he was getting either but clearly fancied the laptop sleeve as a new pillow.

I should have known it was going to be a rubbish day when I managed to run over a chicken (!) on the way to work this morning, on a dual carriageway at 60+ mph. No chance to avoid it but I had hoped I'd got it lined up to avoid the wheels but clearly my car is too low...

Tomorrow can only be an improvement. Certainly having the students as the focus rather than the 'politics' of today's training day will be an improvement. Although I am not sure how teaching my set five Y11s will go with limited voice power. Perhaps they might take pity on me..,
