Geocachers

Last day of the holidays today and we've had a lovely day. A lazy morning waiting in for the gas man and then we went down to the big park behind the library for a picnic. The children played in the park, had running races, rolled down the hill and played football. We also set about finding our first ever geocache. I'm hoping it can become a hobby that we can all get involved with and P was really engaged with it. Once we found the first one we quickly wanted to try and find another. We set off to the church for a hunt around the trees at the pond. It was a bit harder to find than the first but we got it!

We didn't get home till after 3pm and I was surprised how much fun we had had for 4 hours all in less than mile from our house.
