Mono Monday: A new beginning

I bought this old lamp from a friend who is a vintage reseller. It has sat in my living room with a crooked shade and no electrics for six months. My Dad has been visiting for three days and has given my lamp a new beginning as.... a lamp, and its also the way I call Batman.

Dad has also: put some shelves in my cupboard, repaired my wall, repaired by front door, repaired my taps and put up a curtain rail for some heavy curtains on plasterboard (and repaired the botch job I did of the walls).

Lesson of the Day: Dads are the best!
