The magnolias are out

On a chilly afternoon but mercifully sheltered from the biting N-E wind, we came upon this glorious magnolia tree on the hillside in Benmore Botanical Gardens today. Although I had already taken photos of my favourite red rhododendrons with the blue-green leaves, I was instantly seduced ...
