Contrasts

One limitation of Blipfoto (sorry guys) is that you can't easily do a before/after sequence to show contrasts. If it happens on successive days, it's easy of course.

Today was a day of contrasts.

I left home in central Fife (Scotland) at 11am in pouring rain. A downpour which had been going on all morning and was set to last all day. The drains in the street outside the house had blocked, and water was cascading into my garden. (It's on a slope, so the water will just pass by, but living in the middle of a stream is a bit unsettling).

The rain had almost stopped when I reached Edinburgh Airport, but it caught up by boarding time.

Munich Airport greeted me at 5pm (local) with unbroken sunshine and 28°c. Nice.
