Fort Cochi
After a ridiculously long journey involving delays and lots of wandering around airports, kochi was our first stop.
I was surprised by how many women wore saris, having assumed they were probably dissappearing in leiu of modern clothes. Fort kochi has been taken over continously by various European powers so it feels very Western and not at all how I had imagined India.
The seafront is home to these traditional fishing nets as well as huge container ships.
New food: parotta, amazing keralan bread that's a bit like a chapatti but more stringy.
