A Quieter Day

Phil now has the cold I brought with me to Portland, so we had a slower start to the day and did less, as evidenced by my first sub-10,000 step day (7,805 steps).

Our major outing was the longish bus ride to Ecliptic Brewing in north Portland, our favorite. The food is outstanding and there are seasonal specials that reflect the Celtic calendar, which I love. We spent several hours there this afternoon, tasting beers and relishing our food choices.

Taking the bus to various parts of Portland is always interesting for the wide range of bus riders, as well as the business districts and neighborhoods we travel through. We're grateful that the public transit is so good here!
