The Cable Car

In Wellington for the regular monthly two day meeting. A full on day, which has been mentally tiring. That coupled with it being a dreary autumn evening after daylight saving has ended, discouraged looking further afield for a photograph. On the walk back to the hotel, I went along Lambton Quay. Some visits ago I had spotted this painted electronics box, which gives a representation of the early days of the Cable Car, when the motive power was provided by horses. Despite the busy time with workers heading home from their place of work, I was able to get this photo.
